Head of Digital Marketing

The Head Digital Marketing manages the team of the Digital Marketing Department of Base Element, supervises the smooth day-to-day operations and ensures that the department’s strategic objectives and goals are achieved.
An eager learner and an agile leader will head the department towards high quality delivery of services.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Heads the day-to-day operation of the Digital Marketing Department by coordinating all employees’ efforts in delivering timely and quality services to the clients of BE.
  • Leads / manages any projects assigned to the Digital Marketing Department to a successful completion.
  • Manages clients’ relationships and expectations by ensuring the timely and successful delivery of all allocated client campaigns are on brief, on time, on budget and against KPIs align them with upcoming deliverables.
  • Develops procedures and establishes standards towards high quality delivery of services of the Digital Marketing Department.
  • Liaises with the Director and other heads of the Clients Services Function in order to set up and implement a strategic plan takes all necessary actions to achieve it. 
  • Plans, monitors and appraises results of the Digital Marketing Department. 
  • Mentors and develops existing and new staff using a supportive and collaborative approach by encouraging accountability, setting objectives, establishing priorities and monitoring and evaluating results. 
  • Provides consulting regarding digital marketing and communication to the clients of the department.
  • Offers support to colleagues regarding any issue related to digital marketing and campaign strategies.
  • Manages the design and implement of effective digital marketing campaigns, programs & initiatives.
  • Ensures constant communication with customers throughout the contract lifecycle with a full understanding of their needs, business model and marketing strategy.
  • Identifies and capitalizes on digital marketing trends, social media tools, applications, channels and acquires the necessary knowledge and insight to keep clients’ strategies up to date.
  • Manages client's campaign budgets 
  • Communicates the progress of the Digital Marketing Department on a regular basis to any internal and external stakeholders.
  • Forecasts and tracks key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
  • Prepares reports, performance reviews on account status to clients /colleagues.
  • Develops new business with existing clients and/or identifies areas of improvement to meet sales goals for Digital Marketing Department.
  • Prepares, attends and delivers new pitches to new and existing clients.

Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Deep business acumen and ability to act based on marketing and business objectives.
  • Deep understanding of the digital landscape in respect to digital marketing [technologies, platforms, business models, tremds]
  • Proficient in the use of Digital Marketing tools, platforms and techniques [e.g.Google, Facebook, Yandex, Adform, Moz,etc]
  • Proven track record of successfull design and implementation of cross digital channels campaigns
  • Strong organizational, communication and leadership skills.

  • Fluent in Greek and English
